Since 1992 Dr. Christine Fay has taught business management at Elms College. She combines a background in social service with management of nonprofit organizations. Professor Fay brings an interdisciplinary approach to the study of management, focusing students on the complexities of managing a firm in the midst of increasing diversity, regulation, and change. Christine manages the internship program on campus, and is aggressive in finding companies to place Elms College interns to prepare them for careers within the business community. As part of her doctoral program, she has conducted research on many aspects of the employment relationship and institutional change, including her current investigation into employee performance management systems.
